If they don't miss or surprise on the upside the reaction in the stock
should be good or possibly great....

Unless of course some horrible or upsetting news on the sector comes
out right about that time. Or the market in general. (need I say see last quarter.)

We were on track last time but a small stock like ours which had good news was overshadowed by Events.

But don't you think it will take at least 2 more Qs of up surprise to get us back to 35 - 39 trading range?

later

<<MRVC will release earnings in a few weeks. What if they don't miss? A big miss
has already been priced in to the stock...>>

Why would they miss? Asia just hit and MRVC's main sales are Europe,
not Asia. Also, what are expectations? Not all that high I think.
Plus they received over $80 million in September. They probably
couldn't spend much of that so soon, so say they still have $70M
in the bank (ignore what they had before):

$70M * 5.5% for one quarter is $962,500. Divided by 25.9M shares,
this comes to 3.7 cents directly to the bottom line. This certainly
should minimize any risk, IMO.

What do others think?
