You're asking me to make sense out of Govt. regulations? Sorry, can't do that. This is something I heard from a semi-reliable source. I'm not American and am not privy to US tax laws. Here in the great white north (i.e. Canada) I suspect the tax loss season ended today. Incidently, I prefer the microcaps market in the US, more volume and larger range of good picks available. In the Vancouver market, most of them are highly speculative resource stocks (i.e. mining and minerals). With these there is a 1 in 1000 chance of getting a 10 bagger and these days with the price of gold being so low, it's been mostly bearish market. That may change soon, though.
