If these laws were about fraud, they'd apply them to absentee voters

California doesn't have voter ID but they won't open the absentee ballot until they have verified they signature on the outside matches the voter's registration signature. If it doesn't the ballot goes bye bye. They should do this with every vote as we have to sign in at the precinct when voting in person.
