Jack: I maintain I broke no rules unless there are additional rules not mentioned in the "Terms of Use" which I am not acquainted with.

Furthermore, as I was led to understand, the transgression was supposedly "sending unsolicited e-mail to SI users". Frankly, if that is the wording it leaves a lot to be desired. The word "unsolicited does not exists in the english language to the best of my limited (here comes the farmer again (g)) knowledge. If such a word existed, it would be quite contradictory. Check it for yourself, since my etymological prowess is non existent.
