Scott, the real reasons are:

1. It was available
2. I could also work two three hours a day as a "constrruction worker" (actually a "cement porter".)
3. It was not a warehouse, it was a concrete products factory, and I was the "night guard" which provided me with very low cost shelter (negative few bucks per months since they also paid me a symbolic fee for nigh duties (g)).
