Just bought 1k more at the close in anticipation of the 98 good start. Hope all is great with VLNC starting Friday.

Thank you for the very detailed response.

Another question: If those laminating difficulties are resolved ("deliverable") by mid-Jan, what's your best guess on the production schedule after that? A month later? Two months later? I know I'm asking the impossible, but I'd like to get a sense of how long this type of manufacturing takes, even in very general terms.

Thanks again.

BTW, I appreciate the fact that before the news gets out to the general public, it will leak to a privileged few with big pockets. We will likely see a volume spike two or three days before the news. That's the best time to get in. I will be watching carefully.

Paul: While we are speculating about the potential action in DBDY stock, I have another scenario. I could easily see the stock returning to the high single digits BEFORE the official news is out, or even leaked.

As of today, tax loss selling is over. I could easily see the stock moving higher quite quickly, because anybody who wanted out is now out.

In other words, if you wait until the official news is out, you may well be paying double figures for the stock. What difference does that make? Well, if your ultimate target price is $50 (not an unreasonable target for VLNC), the difference between buying now and buying at $10 is the difference between a 5-bagger and a 10-bagger.

That is actually a hell of a difference.
