I LIKE how the Germans do it. They give young people OPTIONS for their post graduate education. They train people to be skilled craftsmen. Skilled machinists, mechanics, engineers, designers.

The U.S. should be more like Germany IMMEDIATELY...


The German "Lehrling und Gesell/Meister" craftsman training system works very well, both there - and in Denmark, where it was copied eons ago. Very unique and an example to copy for a non academic education choice.

As for the French, they have their own problems. I don't believe the unions are any stronger than the very strong German unions, but for sure they seem to be quite irresponsible and thus abusing their power.
