so, last saturday, during the masset harbour days
celebration, the town hosted the agateman mini
triathlon and i volunteered along with a number of
other people,

my job was to stop traffic if needed at the intersection
of delkatla road and hodges avenue, so that the runners
could carry on without having to stop.

i'd been in place for a couple of hours; it had been
raining all morning - sometimes really hard, but i had
my ipod with me so it was all good.

then, the rain stopped. there was just a light fog near
the top of the trees and i heard an eagle and looked up
to see it land on the tree across the street from me.
he was gorgeous. and just then, the piano guys playing
beethoven's 5 secrets came on, followed by k.d. lang
singing cohen's hallelujah and i thought WOW!

it was all too phuckingreat!!
