If you mean Komac, I did not know him.
Here is a little about the coding.
His member # is A-985.

That means he is an (was an) "A" associate member and not SF qualified.

The associate membership is reserved for men who were not SF qualified but made a substantial contribution of effort to SF.

He is a very serious patriot.
Talked yesterday.
We are going to a meeting together in about 2 or 3 weeks.
