VIP Condo,I'm certainly not trying to rain on your parade. I was just trying to answer your question on demand for copper. I, too, am optimistic,(you have to be, because the alternative is too terrible to consider). I believe that economic slowdown will occur across the board next year. However, there will likely be good growth in the US next year and reasonable growth in Canada. Europe is experiencing good growth as well. If the Asian crisis does appear "across the board", then to stagnate a growing economy is better than stagnating a recessionist one.

Put another way, the impact of the Asian contasian, may be minimized(even though significant) by the fact that "we" are strong, when we are hit.
