'Bad' is a subjective term. Everything has its pluses and minuses. For the developed countries, DDT has enough serious side effects that it was outlawed. The biggest problem is that it persists in the environment for a very long time. When it does eventually degrade, DDE is the primary byproduct. And it persists in the environment for a long time also and affects a lot more things than DDT. Most of the other pesticides degrade a lot quicker and their byproducts aren't nearly as bad as DDE.

Who ever said natural products aren't toxic? Certainly not I.

Most pregnant women with Zika can't afford to travel.
