Wink, just because I'm on a diet does not mean I can't read the menu. I will not buy SSC or RWAV in 98. And, now for my prognostication. QDEK on the release announcement of RealHelp with rave reviews goes into Feb at $3 1/8. On good earnings expectations for quarter 1 it goes into March at 4 1/2. There is a 10M share preferred conversion.
After WebCompass 3.0 is released in goes into June at 5 1/4. Strong earnings are released for 2nd quarter with TuneUp, ViruSweep, RealHelp, CleanSweep Deluxe, Partition-it Deluxe, ProComm32 all doing nicely. QDEK spins off StarNine and IwareConnect over the summer. Two totally new products are in beta by late July. FutureLabs which has TalkShow and WebTalk comes out with something hot in August. QDEK closes the 3td quarter with 75M revenue and .10 share profit (55M shares = $5.5M profit. At a PE of 80 the October price of $8 seems a bit high but the software sector is hot and QDEK is "in" again.
QDEK announces aquisition or merger in October. Price goes to $12 in late November. Windows 98 released. It does everything except shine your shoes. QDEK tops out at $15 on December 23, 1998...after that my crystal ball gets hazy................................................
