john,

All things good evolve and continue to evolve. Its an unwritten
law in life. Management can be changed - whether its a voluntary
resignation or a change at the AGM BUT the gold in the ground
cannot be changed. Its either there or its not. We have all
been on this play from the beginning because the gold is in the
ground. (or at least we all believe that) Experience has taught
us that when changes are needed they occur. Remember it
takes gold in the ground to get money in the bank and it takes
money in the bank to get good management. I believe Peter
Parry is probably quite happy just being a shareholder. Being a
director is a lot of hassle and work and very thankless. You should
try it sometime. In truth in my opinion these guys, with what they had
to work with, did an amazing job just staying in this game. Now
they can get good management, offices and all the other things
that go with success. I know you have been hard on them but its
time to let it go. Antares is an excellent company to be at the helm
in indo. Most have left CLL to ANZ. Others are averaging down
but no matter how you cut it BOTH of these companies are about
to make some money for all of us. Lets be thankful. '98, is
at this point, looking pretty good for all of us.
