I've not bought anything in month's - well I did buy AMNF this month for a 3.7 % dividend. I don't fall into or out of the market. I ride it margin free and marvel at nimble traders like GZ. It all about paying dividends and getting taxed at 20% for me. I try to buy stock by selling puts on them and getting them at below market prices and a dividend yield I can live with. Pretty plain jane - but I do like brooks having a 4% plus pop on good volume - no doubt benefiting from Amats sequential record growth in orders - that bodes well for Brks and with a lag Cohu as well as SOX. Both conservative companies with millions in cash and no bank debt. In a world of little organic growth the semi equipments makers have become dividend payers and have the most stellar of solid balance sheets of any sector I know of. The cyclicality of their business has required it for decades. They have been dead money for the last 15 years or so. Perhaps their time has come?? Bob
