The scars were already there from the auto-lobotomies the people on the right insisted on giving themselves- Trump merely exposed the scars. Trump is the creature of the right, rather than it's creator. You have to look to the right wing media, and the lies and hoaxes it has gradually introduced into the feeding tubes of its listeners, and then look to all the people on the right who could have redirected this massive Kool Aid fest but didn't. So the lobotomized zombies of the right aren't Trump's fault- but he certainly knows how to make 'em dance.
