Nice combination Rich! I'll try it tomorrow and see what I get. I am working on the Emovavg problem also. I am planning to calculate the Ema manually to see if I get different results from the system ema's. Exponential Moving Average=((last ma value)(1-(2/(n+1)))+((new price)(2/(n+1))) per wsdinc.com definitions as I do like the 20 day ema. Good trading and happy new year to you. -Al

Richard...excuse my interruption and probable ignorance of the "BBands" script you poised. I copied/pasted from your Msg into a test Q+ scan, and Scanned 11,000+ stocks and '0' were picked on 01/02/98. What gives, do I need to tweek some function(s) or is 01/02 just a bad day for new picks with your Band Scan? Or, is a file created somewhere that I should be 'Opening' to review the Bands? I'm kind of a Novice with Q+, but always like to try out what other people create, and do some custom Scans on the DOW 30....but nothing guaranteed as magic yet. You re-assurance on the BBands scan would be appreciated.
