Clinging to nominal fees for browser copies. Supporting non-profitable plug-in markets, centering development in browser enhancement rather than developing new browser related software like a program to modify on-the-fly audio/video feed to PCs or settop boxes, or like completely redoing the 4.04 face. 4.04 is clunky and slow wrt IE. Evolving out of developing browser only related software, Developing new OS for cable modems. Developing cable modem apps. Graphic paradigm completely changes under cable modem, so the box has the potential of becoming a true multimedia experience. The software apps or OS do not exist to adequately handle the integration of this high speed management including local client OODBMS. Company management is narrow-minded, but is improving by necessity as share erodes. They've got to get much more aggressive as this window of opportunity won't be open very long. They've got MSFT distracted, so MSFT won't be up to a full blown assault on grabbing a major presence in the software side of cable modem market. Andreasen has to change his image. The boyish gee-whiz isn't converting institutional investors into believers. He needs to study Grove persona, start wearing suits, and yelling at upper management rather than this glad-handing, "yes, everything is ok" approach.

There's quite a lot more but I better give you a chance to criticize the above.
