Germans Will Be Asked to Stockpile Food and Water ‘in Case of a Catastrophe’
Germany is planning to urge its citizens to stockpile food, water and other supplies in the event of a catastrophe or armed attack. According to a report by German broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW), citing the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung newspaper, the move would be the first of its kind since the end of the Cold War. The mood in Germany has been unsettled recently following a number of horrific incidents.
