The verb "caught" sometimes like in "he was caught cheating" just means being found out, discovered, right? So maybe he slipped away before they could grab him?

Trump's personal brand is built on winning, so he cannot lose to Hillary Clinton. Also, there is no possible way that this "racist voodoo doll made of discarded cat hair" actually wants to run the country. So, really, the only option here is to quit.

John Podesta, Clinton’s campaign chairman, dismissed the allegations in a campaign statement Monday afternoon and said voters did not need to fear a conflict of interest if Clinton were to become president.

"The Foundation has already laid out the unprecedented steps the charity will take if Hillary Clinton becomes president,” he said.

Podesta instead encouraged Trump to “come clean with voters about his complex network of for-profit businesses that are hundreds of millions of dollars in debt to big banks” and demanded he “release his tax returns.”
