Gee, Carol, you are winking AND you have a great big smile (or is that a middle-aged double chin thing happening in your little picture)? Anyway, I am sorry you could not make it to your country place, although it is very nice that you dropped by here. Where are you geographically, if you don't mind saying? Snowed in is pretty serious. Now just wait a minute while I slug a couple of glasses of wine to catch up with you!!!!!! Um, age is a weird question. Forty something is great in a way, but I am almost forty-nine already, and I am not at all sure about how fifty something is going to be. I had a child fairly late, at thirty-five, so I am not exactly free to explore all the possibilities that life offers. I will be almost sixty before she graduates from college!!! Thank goodness she is very good at doing all the dishes, however, because I am totally tired of tasks like that. I do agree that everything I have done up to now is preparation for this time in my life, but that leads me mostly to thoughts that youth is wasted on the young!!! Now that I have such a huge understanding of so many different parts of life, there are some where my attention and interest are waning. Do you have children, Carol? It seems you are gearing up for a much more exciting time than I am. Maybe I missed the boat!!!!!!
