I'd be quite fearful of a computer that had only one I/O drive. My experience is that when I'm in trouble, system trouble, then it is very convenient to have at least two and maybe three drives. Boot off emergency 1.44MB diskette, run Norton off a CD and have a back-up system available on the JAZ. ZIP + diskette makes more sense to me than one multi-purpose LS120. Desktop towers can support several devices without a problem, and there's just no need for a drive that can handle more than one medium; it's just too gimmicky.

Too bad about M.K. Three or four fatalities so far in Colorado. First avalanche fatality of the season yesterday. Gotta be careful out there! For the record, I am not actually a ski bum, I'm really a ski patrolman ( very slim difference) Hauled a lot of wrecks the last few days- femur, arms. knees, etc. People need to slown and enjoy the scenery... and take a few more lessons!!
Still '97 in the West. No way I'll be up to see 98 roll in.... I do have to work tomorrow.
