Chris,

If you notice, on the DOW, the lower parallel line, if you bisect the distance between that low point and the high made three days prior, then shoot a smaller pitchfork center line to that midpoint from the low made four days from that high, you will see how prices came to that line. Now, it depends on how prices react to that smaller fork. If prices just correct for a day or so and then continue higher, prices will move towards the larger midline. That's how it works. If prices continue to fall away from that smaller midline, then prices will move back to the lower bigger parallel line and probably move still lower. Did I lose you?
