Why would I know about these things, Freddy? I am not that interested in the Nazi period historically, and I just stand by the statements I made in my last post about the overall thrust of organized religion.

I guess it really amazes me when you seem to lump atheists, agnostics and pagans in with really evil people (like the Nazis) simply because they do not believe in a Christian god.

Freddy, The piece by Borman shows that the Nazis were aware of the way that the Churches manipulated people and wanted to wrest that power away from them. He stated that he did not believe in god the way that he was described by the churches, but later mentions "pleasing the Almighty" which he describes as some conscious force governing the Universe. He is no Atheist, but even if he was, he was not motivated by some Atheist dogma. There is none. It is simply the personal non-belief in god, with very little organization.

It's 2:40 A.M. here. Time to blow some ZZZs.

Happy New Year
