Happy New Year! Yin Shih: Thanks for the fascinating account of the struggle and uncertainty that Trimble went through in its early years. I am curious about your engineering speciality and whether you are still actively involved in GPS or satellite communication industry. Arun

Yin Shih; Welcome to SI membership! Good fortune for me that you would join now AND have such an intimate connection with Trimble. Thanks very much for your posts; informative and readable and pushed me over the edge... Have been watching TRMB for awhile now, and this week's price drop is breaking my heart, not because I'm long yet, but that I very much want to be and am stretched real thin in oilfield services right now and don't want to bail on any of them. Hope you continue to visit these parts and share your familiarity with matters GPS. If you get to Seattle area, I'll be the old (but distinguished- looking) guy collecting recyclable cans alongside the road, scraping enough $$ to buy some ownership of Trimble. Happy New Year. Lee
