Scrapps, sounds like you had a real nice New Year's Eve. I did the traditional thing, which is go to my sister's house, which is N. county (boonies). They always have lots of people over, including rifle and pistol enthusiasts, and they set up spot-lighted targets against a dirt bank. This time there was only less than ten shooters. A couple of years ago there were probably twenty shooters firing from a line at the stroke of midnight. This time I only had 20 rounds of 7.62x39mm for my SKS, but it was fun. A friend from Seattle was there with his AR-15, which is basically an M-16 except semi-auto. Then we played some games until after 3:00AM..-G- Today I played around with a friend's new scanner. It's a nice unit, a UMAX flat-bed for only like about $159, I think it was. DK
