"I had thought that most people were more or less over overt racism."

The upside to this is that the younger generations now get to see racism for themselves. Up until now, they've had to rely on tales from their parents, and maybe isolated examples of racists at work. The closest my kids have come was the murder of one of their friends, a young man belonging to a race Bummer doesn't think lives in my town ukiahdailyjournal.com . Thanks to Drumpf, a few generations now know the Ugly, and they don't like it. The only way it's gonna end is to expose it to sunlight, and wait for it to kill off the dying breed of haters. Drumpf is bringing the exposure. thanks, Donald.

Poll: Most young people dislike GOP's Trump, say he's racist
NEW YORK (AP) — Donald Trump is wildly unpopular among young adults, in particular young people of color, and nearly two-thirds of Americans between the ages of 18 and 30 believe the presumptive Republican nominee is racist.

That's the finding of a new GenForward poll that also found just 19 percent of young people have a favorable opinion of Trump compared to the three-quarters of young adults who hold a dim view of the New York billionaire.
