American Renaissance guy, Chris Roberts is just plain stupid. The black community problems he talks about are the result of bad public policy, and horribly bad - mostly leftist - academic research and writing, that have severely discouraged formation of two parent families, (particularly black) and discouraged formation of high culture. Throwing a tantrum about the resulting behaviour of some black folk will not only change nothing but fuel support for those proposing further bad leftist policy and proposing bad rightist policy. That's all this guy is doing - throwing a tantrum: As the Trayvon story began to unravel it became very clear to me that liberals MUST SUPPORT BLACK PEOPLE AND GET BEHIND THEM no matter what- black concerns were always placed above bread and butter “progressive” concerns such as women’s rights, animal rights, or the environment. I noticed EVERYTHING must be dropped in favor of helping and supporting blacks- and that blacks NEVER reciprocated. No. Not even close. What he noticed was the expression of a leftist policy marketing opportunity. The policy is always the same although it's marketed under labels such as, "anti-racist", "equality", "equal opportunity", "social justice", and so forth. The leftist policy underlying the marketing labels is to turn every person, and every institution, into a government client. There's a lot could be said about the corollaries depending from such policy but I'm too upset right now. Going for a walk.
