Well, after the recent Municipal elections the Municipal administration of Jo'burg has been taken away from the ANC and is now in the hands of the DA (Democratic Alliance). As I mentioned to LindyBill, the DA runs my Province, the Western Cape, and there is a VAST DIFFERENCE between the Western Cape and Gauteng, where Jo'Burg sits. Maybe you should visit Cape Town and see for yourself whether or not you would find yourself whistling past a graveyard. We have a coloured (mixed race) Mayoress, Patricia De Lille, who does a very good job at heading the Municipal Administration. Yes, the country has problems, which is not uncommon for any country with a racial mix, as you very likely know yourself. And a lot of them originated, in this country, during the time when we have an uneducated, corrupt individual as President, and the fawning lackeys that he gathered around him. And who, in turn, made it easier for unscrupulous, conniving, cunning individuals, such as the Indian Gupta brothers, to line their pockets by gaining lucrative government contracts and giving "backhanders" to select politicians. Fortunately that rubbish have got onto their private jets and have left the country. BUT, as Abe said ... "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time" .... not even if they are an indigenous black population. The blacks in this country were made all sorts of "promises" by the ANC, starting off in the days of Nelson Mandela, and very few have been kept. Now if you have any understanding of the black mentality you will know that if you promise him something, you better deliver. Because he has a memory like an elephant when it comes to remembering what he or she was promised. And the reality of those un-kept or broken promises have finally struck a chord with the black populace which is why they voted against their former "darling" party, the ANC in recent elections. Slowly but surely the black population is coming to understand that when you vote for someone you don't vote for the colour of his or her skin or their tribal affiliation. You vote for the individual who has some form of a best interest in the country of their birth. Let's hope your blacks come to realise that Hilary doesn't have the interests of her country at heart, whereas Donald is probably more likely to have it. And whether or not Donald is white should be irrelevant. Obama was coloured (mixed race) and where has that got your black population ?? bruwin
