MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 1998--The future of bandwidth technologies will be the topic of a three-day Technology Forum sponsored by Adaptec, Inc. on Feb. 2-4, 1998 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif.

Classes and workshops will cover bandwidth innovation, from the latest in SCSI developments including Ultra2 and beyond, as well as clustering, 1394, RAID, Fibre Channel and satellite-to-PC.

"This technology forum will present the cutting edge of existing and future bandwidth management technologies," said Bob Stephens, Adaptec chief operating officer. "We will not only demonstrate our latest product innovations, but we will also be offering our partners the opportunity to discuss their ideas as well. Four hundred OEM and VAR partners and members of the media are expected to attend the event that will feature keynote presentations by George Gilder, president of Gilder Technology Group and Sandra Reed, editor-in-chief of InfoWorld Magazine. "The Capitol Steps," a nationally-renowned musical political satire group, will be featured at the welcome reception.
