Linda & thread - Although this is the Zonagen thread, another company, TXB has recently come under under attack by our local Purveyor of Poop. TXB is another Texas based (re:hillbilly) biotech firm & I have the good fortune (literally & financially) to be familiar with both. TXB has one drug through clinical trials, with the NDA already filed with the FDA & already granted expedited review - a decision is expected in the 1st quarter. They have two or three other drugs in clinical trials and many more in their R&D pipeline. Like many start-up companies they have had their ups & downs and have had to scrounge for money a time or two. If any of you have ever run a start-up or have knowledges of the challenges, you know what I'm talking about. Anyway, enough of this - the real reason for this post was to let you know who is on the Board of Directors of this newly identified scam. John M. Pietruski Chairman of the Board, Retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Sterling Drug Inc. David B. McWilliams President and Chief Executive Officer Rita R. Colwell, Ph.D. President, University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute Frank C. Carlucci Chairman,The Carlyle Group Robert J. Cruikshank Retired Senior Partner, Deloitte Touche LL James A. Thomson, Ph.D. President and Chief Executive Officer, RAND Corporation James T. Willerson, M.D. Professor and Chairman, Department of Internal Medicine The University of Texas Medical School ============================================================ Oh, and before I forget, the Advisory Director to the Company is: Denton A. Cooley, M.D. Surgeon-in-Chief, The Texas Heart Institute Dr. Cooley is well known by the investment community to seek out fraudulent companies as he desperately needs some extra spending cash. ============================================================ P.S. - In a prior life, Carlucci was the U.S. Secretary of Defense - so we know he a charlatan. P.P.S. - The company was founded from the technology transfer program of the Univ. of Texas Medical School.
