Jack......great idea......maybe we could use 2-3 stocks, IBM for large cap, and others for smaller cap....perhaps set up a seperate thread here.

Hello Jack,

Thanks for the very kind words Jack, they do mean a lot to me...

I like your idea about tracking ONE stock like IBM. I think it would be a very good learning experience and worth the effort. I'm very close to saying I'll do the record keeping but I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up with it.

You know what Jack, as I'm saying I'm not sure I can keep up with it I'm hearing Mary whispering in my ear "if you want something done give it to a busy man." I'm also thinking about one of my role models, Chan and all the things he does with so little time. Now I'm looking at an image of Andy working 10 to 12 hours a day and still keeping track of the two week contest. Oh no, now I'm seeing Jerry G. accomplishing more in one week then most of us do in a Month...

Alright already, I'll do it. Give me some time to figure out the best and easiest way to get it done and I'll get it started....

I like Chan's idea about one large cap and one small cap. Maybe we can have a few classes so people can get an idea of what systems work with what types of stocks. Yes, I really like this idea a lot.

I'll do it as a training and learning experience and not a competition. We all need to grow and the only way to do it is to venture out there with new ideas and strategies. I can see this helping us in this quest.

Let me talk to Andy and Peter about how they did it with their contests and I'll get back to everyone with some guidelines.. Thanks Jack for a great idea and thanks Chan for adding some great building blocks..
