You would be refering to Simmons & Co. International of Houston, headed by Matt Simmons. No I am not related, but we used to be somewhat interchanged sinced I often commented and was quoted in various publications regarding the offshore drilling industry. For instance, in the July 13, 1987 issue of Forbes magazine, in an article based on a brief interview with me, I prophetically state that, "If you can feed the horses till the race starts, I think you will do quite well (in the offshore drilling business)." In those days you couldn't give somebody a drilling rig. I think the race has started and the horses are runnin'. (And of course you can see that even way back then I was warm and tender.)
