Dear Chris,

This note is in reference to a statement Ron Insana made while interviewing the Gardner brothers Of the Motley Fool on Wed. 12/31/97. Mr. Insana said something to the effect that
" I hear Iomega will not make money next year (1998 )". This is a typical example of some of those " on the street " who have access to on air personalities who then
in front of a very large audience spread unsubstantiated rumor as facts. Take for example the case of Dan Dorfman And his relationship with Donald Kessler. Mr. Dorfmar once stated Iomega had, "out dated technology " that was about 6-7 million Zip drive sales ago.David Rocker is a frequent guest on CNBC & has been a long time Iomega short, which in itself is fine, but I suggest the next time he is on stating his half true facts to help his position, someone from Iomega is there to state Iomega's.
We the small investor, those "who beat the street" 3 years ago or new investors
who have studied IOM's fundamentals and desided to invest our very hard earned cash deserve a fair chance. In my humble opinion the Kessler/Dorfman case is just scratching the surface & I think there is a VERY BIG story for those willing to find it.
Respectfully A long time FNN/CNBC viewer.
P/S take a look at IOM's # from First Call
