HI al,

Here's a trade I've put a sell to open on:

TIS - Orchids tissue paper

trading at 27.87

Sell mar 2017 $25.00 put for $1.70

net purchase price = $23.30 dividend of $1.40 / 23.30 = 6.01%

current bid ask is $1.10 - %1.50 - so it needs to decline some more - but hey I'm watching.

Bought POT Potash today at $17.82 and sold Sept $18 calls at $0.55.
Company has confirmed they are in talks with AGU about a potential merger of equals.
The stock is not above it's recent range enough to have broken trend so I think the downside is limited while upside on potential merger remains.
The 55 cents for 2 1/2 weeks is 3% of my purchase price. I like the risk level.
I will keep selling calls until I lose the stock and then decide if I should sell puts.
I play with POT every few years it seems. It has been in a down trend for a few years.
