One of the dumbist things you've ever said.
Who signed the repeal of glass stegal? Who lowered rates and kept them low? Who was FED chairman under the Clintons? Who laxed lending laws so everyone could "afford" a home?

Actually, that's a tricky one.

I blame Greenspan MORE than Bush on that.

And Clinton gets some blame for that too. They changed some banking regulations during his term that made that recession more likely.

And that could have been a DEPRESSION rather than a recession if Bush Jr. hadn't listened to the FED.

In that case, Bush Jr. LISTENED to people that knew more than he did and that helped SAVE the U.S. and world economies.

Bush probably didn't know what was going on but he LISTENED to people that DID.

This might be the FIRST time I've ever defended George W.

If your posts mean ANYTHING you should try and be HONEST as possible.

It seems ironic that I'm writing this post to you. Since you are one of the FEW people that seems to support me at times.

It's just that YOU were the guy that brought this up. I would have answered it the same way to anyone.

Not my day I guess....
