That is easy. Because for too many Americans, "Law and Order" == "Fear of Scary Black Men". Just look at FUBHO and his ilk. Based on their posts, all crime is a product of big, black men often on drugs. Fox News and other wingnut sources promote this idea by pretty much exclusively reporting on crime committed by those of a darker skin hue and ignoring any committed by whites unless it is a murder-suicide of an entire family or a mass killing. And the crimes by whites are almost always by a lone gunman who showed previous signs of a mental illness...
