<<Neither of these reasons is any excuse why justice should not have been done under the law, which it was not.>>

With all due respect, justice was done according to our judicial system. Each defendant has the right to a jury trial by his peers in this type of criminal case. The jury acquited the defendant. Therefore, justice was done. Whether we agree with their decision is besides the point. Otherwise, defendants would be subjected to a trial over and over until the majority got the justice they wanted which, in my opinion, smacks of vigilantyism (I apologize for the spelling errors.) I'm of the opinion that all those involved in the Waco debacle should have been jailed, bailed, and tried by a jury of their peers as well, but we all know what happened there. Obviously, justice is NOT for all.

I'm tempted to make the comment that the peers of the defendant in the Denny trial can't even tell each other apart, but I'll decline lest I be labled a racist. I'm a separatist; I believe there IS a difference.

Jack,

<<Health care essay cometh!>>

You have been promising this for a while now. Is it necessary? Didn't the First Lady fix all the problems in '93? And wasn't it a fortunate coincidence that she shorted drug stocks the day before her husband announced a cap on drug prices?
