I think it would be a big relief to everyone considering what has gone on in Asia for them to earn .22 cents. Lehman's last report basically said that wouldn't happen. .24 to .25 cents and I would go get drunk.

If they can just make their numbers and give some hope to the future we will be off and running.

But I'm expecting (bracing myself) that sometime in the next week or two for them to say sorry, Asia (everyones new favorite excuse, although America's total export to that region amounts to less than 15% of total, and their problems should make parts much less expensive for companies like LSI and improve margins) has really caught us off guard and we will come in at .18 to .20 cents. If that happens it will be bad on everyones physchology and we could trade down to 15 or so.

I just reread John's post (#8764), and hes right about what Lehman said. LSI's management has guided Lehman to warn everyone they won't make numbers. According to what Lehman has said, and it does seem like it went from the CFO's mouth and then out the Lehman analyst's mouth they won't make numbers. I think that may be why LSI hasn't perticipated in the rally this last week. Everyone with any kind of connections knows what is coming. LSI could easily shave off another 3 or 4 points after their numbers are released.
