frankw1900, IMO, you make a far more compelling and sensible case than does Maurice on the subject. Quite frankly I don't respond well to his comments such as, "rah rah our team", or "Oh come on now. Don't be silly", or "You racists prefer not to see the truth", and most certainly not to, "To help you see the truth". Apart from the fact that some of his comments could, IMO, be regarded as asinine, they are also presumptuous and downright derogatory. So I'll leave Maurice to go his own way, based on his own beliefs and incisive(?) insights .... and I'll do some further ruminating over what you posted .....

Much of what is interpreted as a racial difference in IQ, will, in the end I expect be only a difference of very few generations in the right environment. You have faith in the "Nurture" side of the argument. The Genetic evidence piling up is on the Nature side. Thomas Sowell has demonstrated that Blacks did much better in NYC schools in the 50's and 60's before the Liberals took over. A lot of this was because of the difference in discipline and the fact that they kicked out more of the "Act up" kids in those days. Out of wedlock kids were 22% of the Blacks back then. They are 70% plus now. I am not going to get into a "nature/nurture" discussion with you because I know it will not change anybody's opinion.

At least those aisles contain anti-oxidants such as PABA para amino benzoic acid and other good stuff. There's also a LOT less poison such as lead and mercury which destroys brain development in children. Blood lead levels have dropped enormously. Brains work a lot better when not poisoned. When women can tick the boxes in genetic engineering No cystic fibrosis No haemochromatosis No sickle cell anaemia No stomach cancer gene Fix the genes which cause gross anomalies No eye defects Clip on that hot stuff Ashkenazi brain function They will opt for their little darlings to avoid the special needs classes. I would love to have been able to study in minutes rather than hours or even make it up as I go in examinations. Slogging for hours and days to learn abstruse mathematics is a bit of a pain. High intelligence would make life so much easier. It has made life so much easier. Billions of people can buy Microsoft stuff, click on Google, buy a Qualcomm powered Cyberphone, catch a cheap autonomous electric taxi recharged with Halo and 7SSS [seven second swap stop]. They can't actually do that last one yet, but they soon will be able to do so. Traffic jams will be history, streets will be clear of cars parked everywhere. People won't bother owning a car in cities. They won't be allowed to drive cars - drunk chimps in charge of a ton of steel flying towards me at 100 kph with only a white line of paint on the road to keep them away from me is undesirable.
