The down side to the regional airports is you pay a pretty premium to fly out of them, usually.

Another way to look at it is that many flights out of smaller airports are to expensive hubs.

The main airline out of providence is Southwest, which is generally reasonable. In any case >90% of my flights are business, paid by the client.
