High likelihood that the ASTM standard in which Miller graphite is characterized came after extensive examination of oxidation tendencies, or lack thereof, with Miller control samples. All you have to do is look at the over-riding topic within the papers to be discussed at the Nuclear conference to understand why Canada Carbon was asked to attend the conference. Miller graphite has already caught the attention of the big boys in Nuclear so nobody should be surprised to see some serious developments for the company coming out as a result of attending the meetings.
