Excellent link, Bill. It sums up in a nutshell why the Y2K problem is real - and why ZITL is still a great short for 1998.

Happy New Year to all.

Good evening Bill(CR)
Thanks for the link. Obviously, you and I have very different opinions of the future of this company. However, we have both tried to carry on an exchange of information in a civil manner regarding the year 2000 issue in general and Zitel in specific. I have appreciatied your contributions to the thread in 1997 and continue to look forward to our exchange of information and ideas during 1998. I wish you and your family a healthy and successful 1998.

Sincerely,

Jas

From the San Francisco Chronicle (1/1/98):

Arthur Chait, Zitel's vice president and general manager (said)... "things should pick up dramatically in the first quarter of 1998."

OK, lets count Zitel's Y2K orders for the first quarter of 1998 ... huh, none that would show up!
