Brian, Agreed. The huge short interest acts as a buffer on big price drops. Every time the price drops, shorts come in to close positions and slow the descent. Well I was in and out of YHOO today in long @ 63 3/8 out @ 63 1/8th so I lost about $200 including commissions.

I went back to my "best" easy way to make money short term and that is ASND. As it is a potential takeover target, check out the option premiums on the calls. You can sell the near in the money Jan 25 call for $1.75, or about a 6-8% premium, and then purchase an out of the money put about 20% back (just to prevent a runaway collapse) for only 3/16th of a point. Not a big risk and you can "crawl" forward monthly with this technique with a reasonble downside protection. Not dramatic or glorious, but a decent way to build up a good yearly gain....

The same with CREAF- check out the premiums on the short-term call options. Pretty juicy...........

Sincerely,

Doug F.
