George, As promised: Technical Analysis - GT Diamond Group As indicated in a previous post, I will attempt to provide you with a basic TA aspects of the GT Diamond Group. Please appreciate that I have a basic grasp of TA only, and am certainly open to comments. It is my intention to comment on only those stocks within the group that look interesting as of the reporting period - not to comment on each one. Also, I am having trouble down loading the data for Nora Explorations. Until that issue is resolved, I can not comment on that stock. Finally, my chart data goes back only 2 years. I will likely report every 2-3 days EXCEPT if I see something really significant - in which case I will report as soon as I can. Aber Has some support that the $12 level. Presently showing a little strength - trending above its 13 day SMA (Simple Moving Average). It is approaching the 50 day SMA and if it can penetrate that and stay above it, it would be bullish IMO. I would expect some resistance at about the 18.00 area. Ashton Has good support at the $5 level. Has recently penetrated its 13 day SMA and it 50 days SMA - IMO that is bullish. It is forming a triangle that appear is going to resolve to the upside - I would be looking for an increase in volume to confirm this. Botswana Diamonds Looks to have formed a "V" bottom - generally an indicator that it is one its way back up. Has also penetrated its 13 and 50 day SMA - generally bullish. Will likely find moderate resistance at about the 2.75 level - with strong resistance at the 3.05 area. A penetration through the 3.05 level on good volume would be very bullish IMO. Caldera Nothing significant yet. Cananova Likely at a bottom here. Just barely penetrated its 13 day SMA - if that hold over the next while, that is bullish. The 50 day SMA would be the next target. There will likely be strong resistance around the 3.50 area. A penetration through that level on good volume would be bullish. Likely also to find resistance at the 5.50 area. Kalahari Resources Thinly traded, making it more difficult to evaluate. RSI is improving slightly - other than that, not too much exciting IMO. Mountain Province Formed a double bottom at the 4.25 level - generally a bottoming indicator. A penetration through that to the down side, would see moderate support at the 4.50 area, and strong support at the 2.75 area. Presently hoovering around its 13 day SMA. If it can penetrate this area convincingly, on decent volume, that's bullish. Certainly appears to be under accumulation with OBV (On Balance Volume) being strong and RSI being steady. New Claymore Has likely bottomed. Has penetrated its 13 day SMA and _just penetrated its 50 day SMA. Appears to be under accumulation with OBV being quite positive. Resistance is at about the 2.75 area - a penetration through that on good volume would be bullish IMO. Platinova Formed a double bottom at the 1.10 area - generally, as indicated above, this is a good bottom indicator. Has penetrated its 13 day SMA and just tickling its 50 day SMA. If the trend continues on good volume, that would be bullish. I would expect to see some resistance at the 1.65 area. OBV and RSI are decent. Rex Diamonds May have formed a "V" bottom .... but there could possibly be another test of the .80 cent area. It is just tickling its 13 day SMA. A good penetration through that area, with some decent volume, would likely confirm that .80 bottom on about December 8. Its OBV and RSI are slowly improving - that is positive. There will likely be strong resistance at the 2.00 area - a penetration through that on decent volume would, IMO, be very bullish and likely portend the beginning of a decent run. Rupert Resources Recently repenetrated the 13 day and the 50 day SMA - generally bullish. Looks like it is trying to find a point to consolidate until more news becomes available - but generally still looks bullish. OBV is good ... RSI is high, which _may suggests some may consider profit taking. If more good fundamental news is anticipated, it may have more legs. Southern Era Appears it may have formed a double bottom at about the $12 area. Has penetrated its 13 day SMA and just tickling its 50 day SMA. OBV is good .... RSI is high which _may suggests some may consider profit taking. Winspear Formed a triple bottom late April through June at the 1.25 area .... then penetrated it down to the .66 area .... then bounce off of the .75 area twice. Likely this is a solid support level. Has penetrated its 13 and 50 day SMA; has good OBV. RSI looks decent. Likely find strong resistance at the 1.25 area, unless fundamental news drives it through that area. A penetration through that area on decent volume would be quite bullish. Hope this is some help! MB
