Henry, Predicting profits is a risky business. Risky for those who believe in them especially if they don't come true. To assign actual numbers is foolish to me because there are too many variables that can quickly erode what the analyst have predicted. I'm didn't invested in lgnd because of what analyst say the company will make in a year or two years. I invested in Lgnd because of the science. If their research can produce products that work, then the earnings will start to speak for the company. But until LGND actually starts to make money on FDA approved medicine(s), I won't hold my breath in anticipation of what the analyst say in regards to future earnings. BTW, thanks for the info on Targretin.

Did you get my email on my preferred choice of McGuigan's--the Black Label?? Hope you win that August bet, but I think I'll win a third. Profitability in Q4 is a real stretch IMO.
