Hint: The colleges are ripping off the students and government. They are fine with forgiving the student loans.

Very similar to the housing bailout.

I bet you didn't pay over $200/semester when you when to UCB.

DC pays like 30k a year per student (really more) the catholic schools there want like 5-7 K so if dc paid that than the schools would have 25k more for the students remaining. If a 1000 students left dc schools would have 25mil more to spent on the public school children win win
