Toby:

Glad to have you aboard. I looked at the day chart and saw
what you were referring to--a $3 jump right around 3:00.
I suspect some MM was adding to a fund. I didn't check
the volume. Can anyone look at the size of the trade?
Anyway, Happy New Year and let's hope the word spreads
about SFSK.

Ann

FWIW, The activity on Jan 1, was probably sparked by followers of the Motley Fool Workshop - Relative Strength Screens. The screen is based on Value Line Timeliness Rank of 1 and IBD RS listing. The Relative Strength screen, as you can imagine, leans toward the momentum stocks. One version of the screen trades monthly in and out of five stocks. SFSK first hit their screen on 12/5/97 and again on 1/2/98. Some buyers came in early on Jan 1 after the database on the MF was updated mid week. The monthly portfolio was up 73.4% for last year. #1 of all their screens. Now everyone's probably jumping on this screen for 98. On 1/2/98 SFSK hit 2 of their screens.

Looks like the word is getting out about the little party SFSK has been having.

Just one possible explanation.

Scott
