can't wait til everyone has one and when the grid isn't failing you can pay four or five times the cost of electricity today. Don't forget you will need to burn fossil fuels to keep up with the demand, just as is necessary now.

Don't get me wrong. I love the idea of electric cars but it will be a while before they can go extended distances and carry heavy loads. For that we still will need gas, CNG and diesel.

As for drag racing, electric has the superior low end torque.
