vargas, Just a quick note regarding the "only" competition for Thoratec. To be more honest there is a much better company that is a better technology, with better financial backers(60% institutional) and with a better product with better talent. Not to put Thoratec down but you might want to check out this company instead. The company I'am referring to is World Heart(WHRTF) and it trades on NASDAQ. This is a Canadian co. based in Ottawa, its HeartSaverVP is, after 10 yrs of research, being manufactured starting this month. If you want a great company and a play in the growing health care/medical product sector, that I would surmise after due diligence on several of these companies(incl. Thoratec), that World Heart is a much safer and potentially higher yielding equity than any other comparable company, this is only my opinion and each investor should do a little research before investing. Thanks for your time, by the way, I too am watching and waiting for the developments with ERB. Hopefully we have a winner, If we have a field similar to the one that was found in Waterton by Canadian 88/Prize energy, this will be a great 98. Cheers !
