Not an off the cuff remark. She tried it out during an interview for Israeli TV. Around the 2:00 mark - including, "grossly generalistic."

Quotable quote: To just be grossly generalistic, you can put half of Trump supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it.

reducing the Democratic playbook to its essence.

In an interview on FOX yesterday Ed Rollins said she knew exactly what she was doing and that the line was "scripted." I've been watching CNN this am...........something I never do...........and the one over riding impression I've come away with is that their "guests" are extreme in their hatred for republicans. Their vitriolic rhetoric is quite shocking to hear.
